Martin Brower UK
Martin Brower are one of the world’s biggest distribution and logistics companies. They have over 60 distribution centres across 18 countries providing end-to-end supply chain management solutions to quick service restaurants. Since they were founded they have developed a blueprint for efficiency in their 50-year relationship with McDonald’s making them true market leaders.
Martin Brower recognised that their UK distribution sites needed a signage strategy that would be focused on efficiency whilst carrying a high level of brand consistency. Wayfinder UK were appointed to do the job at several different sites across the UK. The team understood the need for quality brand implementation across all the sites in order for the brand message to be carried out effectively.
Wayfinder UK made use of two consultancy teams to drive forward the implementation. The first team brought together a wayfinding strategy, during their survey they covered large distances across the site in order to determine the best wayfinding approach. The second team focused on the importance of brand, ensuring the signage sourced was quality and the signage designed was in keeping with the brand. Both teams communicated effectively on how to implement and present the signage in order to have the optimal user experience.
Once the strategy was decided, all distribution centres were completed within the allotted time period. Martin Brower were pleased with the completion of the project, praising Wayfinder UK on the quality of signage presented.
